Plan Review Fees are assessed when the valuation of the proposed
construction exceeds $1,000 and plans are required to be
submitted. The plan review fee is one-half of the building
permit fee and is added to the permit fee and is payable with the
building permit fee.

| Moving Fees are assessed with a permit to move any building or
structure. The fee is $100.00. |
Demolition Fees are assessed along with a permit for the demolition
of any building or structure. The fees are based on the cubic
feet of structure to be demolished:
0-100,000 Cubic Feet
--$50.00
100,000 Cubic Feet and over --$.50 per 1000 cubic feet

Plumbing Permit Fees are assessed on all
new construction, renovation and remodeling which involve the
installation, repair or replacement of plumbing systems and
fixtures. Fees are based on Ordinance # 2381 of the Gatlinburg
Municipal Code.

Mechanical Permit Fees are assessed on
all new construction, renovation and remodeling which involve the
installation, repair or replacement of heating, ventilating, ductwork,
air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Fees are based
on the 1997 Standard Mechanical Code.
