Proposed Ordinance Amendment

The Gatlinburg Planning Department is responsible for the City's physical and socioeconomic planning, including land use review, preparation of plans and policies, and provision of technical assistance and planning information to the public, government agencies, city officials, and community boards. The Gatlinburg Planning Department is located upstairs in the City Hall which is located on Highway 321. The office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. except for national holidays.

	Public Notice The City of Gatlinburg's Environmental Design Review Board will meet on the second (2nd) and fourth (4th) Thursday of each month at City Hall, 1230 Parkway East, at 1:30 p.m. Deadline is noon on Friday preceding meeting date. The City of Gatlinburg's Municipal/Regional Planning Commission meets on the third (3rd) Thursday of each month at City Hall, 1230 Parkway East, at 5:00 p.m. Deadline at noon, fifteen (15) days prior to meeting date. The City of Gatlinburg's Municipal Board of Zoning Appeals will meet on the fourth (4th) Thursday of each month at City Hall, 1230 Parkway East, at 3:00 p.m. Deadline is ten (10) days prior to meeting date. The Gatlinburg Regional board of Zoning Appeals (RBZA) meets on call of the Chairman.
